UPI Laboratories Europe BV are specialist in the calibration and supply of hardness testing indenters (diamond and ball indenters) for Rockwell, Vickers, Knoop and Brinell.
For hardness testing indenters (United Precision Industries) UPI Laboratories works under an ISO/IEC 17025 RvA accreditation. This accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace and to regulators that UPI Laboratories have met the industry-recognized requirements for measurement traceability and undergo a program of periodic monitoring by the RvA in the Netherlands.
The RvA, UKAS, DaKKS, COFRAC, NVLAP, A2LA amongst others are ILAC, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, signatories.
High precision tools for hardness testing
The diamond indenters supplied by UPI Laboratories are long life, precision mounted in exact conformity to its grain structure. All our indenters are supplied dual calibrated, meeting the requirements of both ISO and ASTM.
Our carbide balls are made from the highest and purest quality carbide to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability. We evaluate each carbide ball for Rockwell and Brinell testing purposes with laser scanning microscopes ensuring they meet all relevant ISO and ASTM standards.
